In 2004, a pivotal moment changed everything.
While stationed in Adana, Turkey, I was rushing my two eldest, Kiersten (12) and Justin (9), to school. Our hectic morning routine was nothing out of the ordinary—frantic and filled with shouts of “Grab your jackets, lunch, backpacks, and let’s GO!”
Later that evening, during choir rehearsal, I suddenly collapsed. My body drenched in sweat, everything around me faded into darkness. Staring up at the ceiling light, it felt like I was slipping away. I heard the prayers of those around me and, in my heart, I prayed too. “Lord, if this is my time, please ensure my children will be okay.” In that critical moment, I distinctly heard, “You will be fine. I have work for you to do!”
That incident was my wake-up call. At that point, I was overweight, overwhelmed, and exhausted—an all-too-common state for a working wife and mother of three. Although the ER doctors initially suspected a stroke, thankfully it wasn't. But the scare prompted me to reassess my health.
For the next decade, I wrestled with my weight, bouncing from one diet to another, feeling perpetually tired and defeated. In my desperation, I turned to God, pleading for help. “Lord, you've given me an amazing family and my dream job as a school principal. Why can't I manage my weight? I’m so tired of this struggle.”
God answered my prayers in an unexpected way—through a remarkable product that helped me shed over 50 pounds with three simple steps, and more importantly, keep it off!
